Research Focus

Trading bots: market making, arbitrage, statistical arbitrage
Unified SDK: polymarket-client, realtime streams, pandas/polars
Risk management: position sizing, drawdown limits, kill switches

Key Findings (October 2026)

As of October 2026, the official Python SDK for Polymarket is polymarket-client (version 0.5.0 as of August 9, 2026):

Install: pip install polymarket-client → Import: import polymarket (names differ!)
Clients: AsyncPublicClient/PublicClient (data), AsyncSecureClient/SecureClient (trading)
Realtime: subscribe([MarketSpec(...), SportsSpec()]) — async only
Data export: to_pandas(limit), to_polars(), to_arrow()
Migration path: py-clob-client (archived) → py-clob-client-v2 (July) → polymarket-client (final)
Requires Python 3.11+
